 Harare Metropolitan Province gets its raw water from Lake Chivero, Seke, Harava and Manyame dams.The raw water is treated at the City’s two major water treatment works, Morton Jaffray (in Norton) and Prince Edward Water Treatment Works (along the Harare-Chitungwiza Road).  Once the water is certified fit for human consumption, it is stored in reservoirs from where it is pumped to different parts of the City and its satellite towns.
